This year, Jeffery Broussard & The Creole Cowboys are in Elko for their first appearance at the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering. I've played Jeffery Broussard's records on my radio show, but the live version of the band is not to be missed. There is an energy in the room that eludes even the best recording technology.
