In this song, Kiedis refers to his turbulent relationship with his former girlfriend, which ended before recording Blood Sugar Sex Magik. At that point, he realized that being a ladies' man is great, but you are alone at the end of the day. The percussion was recorded using various junkyard debris found by Chad Smith, Flea and John Frusciante. Also; probably the kitschest #rhcp-track-of-the-day music video.
